Summer APA

The Advanced Performance Academy is back for Summer 2020!

CCT has been adapting the Advanced Performance Academy (APA) program to align with COVID regulations, and are committed to making this program meet the needs of our young artists. APA this summer will be an 8-week intensive focusing on acting, singing, dancing and play-writing taught by professional artists in the Columbus and New York. Students will also get exclusive interviews with working artists and alumni from all over. Classes will be held virtually with the hopes of bringing small groups into our studios. On top of classes, students will attend virtual or socially distant rehearsals to work toward a completely original show created by them to be released digitally at the end of the 8-weeks.

To register for APA please send a picture, resume and 2 minute audition video (only if you haven’t participated in APA before) of either a song, or monologue (or both!) to kelsey@columbuschildrenstheatre.org. Your audition can be done on an iphone or Android phone. We look forward to creating a one-of-a-kind summer!
