Workshops in the Classroom
PRE AND POST SHOW WORKSHOPS
Attending a Daytime Performance and not sure what the play is about, or how to prepare your students for the visit? Interested in continuing the conversation in your classroom after the show? Our professional teaching artists are available to visit your classroom before and/or after your daytime performance for a first-hand look at the production and a special CCT experience in your own class!
Contact our Education Department at 614-224-6673 option 2 or EducationDept@columbuschildrenstheatre.org for more information and to book a teaching artist in your classroom!
Our touring season has been carefully chosen to inspire, enrich, empower and educate our audiences! Continue the fun and connections through workshops specifically designed to complement each play, connect to the classroom, and deepen the impact of our live performances through interactive and engaging material.
Workshops are taught by the professional Acting-Teaching Artists of the Touring Company. Each workshop is approximately 45 minutes and can be tailored to specific grades/ages. Each performance has four connected workshops to choose from:
- Acting Workshop
- Thematic Workshop
- Curriculum Connection Workshop
- Writing Workshop
