Private Lessons

Private Lessons at CCT

Now offering virtual private lessons! While we realize in-person lessons would be preferred, we understand for the safety and comfort of our instructors and students, that in-person is not possible at this time. This will remain in affect until safety is secured. Luckily, our expert instructors have still created curriculum that can effectively help improve student’s skills in this method and we look forward to continue training virtually with you!

CCT is proud to offer private lessons in downtown Columbus in a variety of subjects for students ages 7 through adult: Acting, Voice, Dance, Flute and Piano. CCT’s teachers are experienced professional performers and teachers with the highest qualifications. From classical to pop, jazz to opera, Shakespeare to Mamet, we have you covered.

Is a private lesson right for me?

All of CCT’s teachers are well-equipped for all types of students at least 7 years old. Each subject, however, has its own recommendations of experience:

  • Piano, dance and flute: Lessons recommended for any level of experience.
  • Voice: Lessons recommended for 10 years of age or after full development of voice has been completed.
  • Acting: Lessons recommended for students who have some previous experience in a group acting class or in a show.

Where do lessons take place?

Our office is located at 177 East Naghten Street in Columbus, Ohio. Parking is available at a first-come, first served basis in our lot in front of the building. Additional parking is available in two pay lots (to the east and northeast of the building) and meters on surrounding streets.

How does it work?

Start by clicking here to read about our teachers. We have two levels of instruction, our faculty and our senior faculty. Senior faculty have been recognized as being at the top of their field or possessing high level degrees (Master’s or PhD). Lessons can be purchased online HERE.

Please note, if this is your first lesson, please confirm a lesson with teacher before purchasing online. Each instructor has guidelines for their studio that will be laid out at your first session.
